Job description

We have an exciting new role with a specialist boutique firm of senior housing Solicitors providing a professional, affordable service specifically for Social Housing providers and their partners in Kent.

They are looking for a real estate/property paralegal to join their team at the start of December

The role is full time and based out of their office near Sevenoaks and Westerham in Kent. Due to lack of public transport, the candidate will require a car. The role is hybrid (3 days in the office), but the client would like someone to come in full-time initially to be set up on their systems. The role is initially expected to last for 6 months, although for the ideal candidate who performs well it could lead to a permanent position. They are also prepared to sign off the placement as Qualifying Work Experience. Basic training is provided and you will require your own laptop.

Job requirements

They would be looking for someone with some experience in transactional property work. The ideal candidate would have experience dealing with social housing or affordable housing before, but this is not essential. Some of the typical tasks the candidate would be expected to be involved in are:

  • SDLT returns
  • Completions (specifically lease completions)
  • Land Registry searches and checks
  • Easements work
  • Variations of 106 agreements
  • Title Deed reviews
